What a Week:

Many may feel that the arrival of August means that summer has come to an end, but there are still plenty of more days to have summertime fun! The countless beach days at Yirrell will be running through September when it will start to feel like fall, so head down to the beach while you still have a chance!

If you drove by Coughlin Park recently, you would see that it is undergoing reconstruction. Although there may have been many fun times at the old park, once it is re-done, there will be even more memories to be made there!

Winthrop Superstars:

The Winthrop Police Department and Winthrop Fire Department had an amazing National Night Out on Tuesday. They would not have been able to do it without all of the awesome volunteers!

Shout out to…the mute button on my TV remote for when back to school commercials come on.

Upcoming Events:

If you enjoy eating food and having fun, make a trip to the North End and visit one of their annual Feasts! Each feast has food, games and prizes, and even live music. They are fun to go to with friends and family, and will always be a night to remember. The feasts are Thursdays through Sundays from now until September, so don’t miss out! Make sure to get a famous and delicious rice ball from the Paesan’s stand while you’re there!

Parks and Recreation will be showing their last summer movie and concert of the year at Ingleside Park on Thursday, August 14th at sunset. Make sure to drop by and watch a movie with your friends, as well as listening to some awesome live music!
