Kathleen Duffy and Her New Business

We congratulate Kathleen Coffey Duffy on the launching of her business, Healing Hearts Therapeutic Massage for Women, which is located at 260 Revere St. We remember Kathleen well for her support of her brothers’ athletic careers. Kathleen was the perfect older sister to her siblings and was present for their athletic accomplishments such as when her brother, Steve, set the all-time hitting streak record while playing baseball for UMass/Boston. Kathleen later traveled with her family to different ballparks when Steve was playing in the Chicago Cubs’ minor league system. She also was supportive and helpful to her brother James’s administration of the Winthrop High athletic program before he made a decision to take a new position at Beverly High School. And of course, there was brother Tommy’s stellar athletic career as well — while her father, Steve Coffey Sr., remains one of our favorite Little League coaches of all time.

Yes, it’s a great Winthrop family and Kathleen made a decision in her career — she served the town well in the Winthrop High School main office for the past eight years — to launch a new venture and we hope you’ll consider Kathleen’s services so you can leave her studio feeling “rejuvenated, relaxed, and at peace with your mind, body, and soul.”

Best of luck, Kathleen, and keep up the great work.
