Get Out and Vote

The candidates are winding down their campaigns with Election Day set for this Tuesday, November 3. Town Clerk Carla Vitale and her staff are ready to administer the election and it’s now up to the voters to get to the polls and cast their ballots for the men and women whom they want as their leaders in town government.

The race for Town Council President featuring Council Vice President Craig Mael and Bob Driscoll is the headliner on Tuesday as both candidates seek the high elected position in the town. The position of Town Council President is a high honor and both candidates would serve our town with distinction if given the opportunity.

The School Committee race is also an interesting one in an exciting time for Winthrop, as we will welcome a brand new, $80 million high school/middle school building to open next year.

We wish all the candidates good luck and we hope residents will respect the work they have put in and head to the polls Tuesday.
