Monday, December 14

Party on Locust Street called to state that he was just assaulted. Officers report victim was struck with a hammer. Officers and detectives are searching the area. Fire responded to check out the victim. W98 and W91, along with Revere detectives are checking on the assailant’s house. They report they are unable to locate the suspect. W92 will make out an incident report for a warrant.

Nurse at the Arbors called for an ambulance. EMS notified.

Caller reports that two young males are walking and riding their bikes very slowly up and down on Court Road looking around and possibly at peoples’ houses. One has a large black backpack. Last seen heading towards Johnson Avenue. Officer reports searching the area. Nothing to report.

Party on Bowdoin Street came in to report that an elderly neighbor keeps going on her property and tries to gain entry into her house. She just wants this on record at this time.

Report of a large tree branch hit by a truck on Undine Avenue and it is in the road. DPW notified.

Walk-in from Elmwood Court to report a larceny/fraud. Contractor signed and cashed her check without her approval.

A tenant on tenant dispute on Trident Avenue. An alleged assault took place prior to officers’ arrival. Victims may come up and fill out victim/witness form. No one showed up.

Caller on Trident Avenue reports that her two roommates threatened her. Unit reports calling party was upset about something that a child said.

Two parties from Trident Avenue came in to report that some threats made to them by their roommate.

Male caller on Trident Avenue reports a female roommate is assaulting him. Units request an ambulance. All parties checked out. Mutual assault charges to be filed between two women. A 51a to be filed for children who were home. Report submitted.

 

Tuesday, December 15 2015 Unit request an incident on Trident Avenue for a previous call after determining the name of a suspect not previously known.

Report of sewer backup at intersection of Walden and Pauline Street. DPW notified.

Nurse at the Arbors called. EMS notified.

Todisco Towing came to the station to report that they had towed a motor vehicle from Governors Drive.

Party from Hermon Street is being transported voluntarily to Whidden.

Caller on Prospect Avenue reports that an electrical wire has fallen. WFD has been notified.

Middle/High School called to report a fight in the CVS parking lot. One of the combatants is in the principal’s office. Officers report one student punched a few times in the face. Fire and ambulance will respond. The student was checked out with a parent on the scene. Officers will call the parents of the student that took off.

Harbormaster called to report a boat has run ashore at the Public Landing. The owner has been notified and will be down to try and free the boat later this evening.

Report of hissing and an odor of natural gas on Harvard Street. WFD notified and will handle.

Report of four teen males with baseball bats walking around Shirley Street. 98 K9 and 92 reports the area is clear at this time.

Caller on Summit Avenue reports that his one-year-old son, learning to walk, fell and hit his head against a door jam. He does have a bump. Fire and ambulance notified.

Neighbor reports an outside fire and noise on Myrtle Avenue. WFD, 92 and 93 reports a small fire put out by the homeowner. No other issues.

 

Wednesday, December 16

Caller on Buchanan Street reports that her husband has been vomiting through out the night. He is requesting medical attention.

Party at Revere and Argyle Street reports that he and another motorist have gotten into an accident. The other motorist is arguing about transferring information with him. 92 responded and has requested another unit. Units report that the motorists have exchanged information.

Multiple callers from Shore and Beach Road report that there is an accident there. 91 responded to the area. ARO assisting. State Police notified and will respond.

Caller on Overlook drive reports that he was threatened by a party known to the caller that may reside at he adjacent complex. 91 will investigate the matter.

Daughter on Wave Way Avenue called to report that her mother needs an ambulance. EMS notified.

Manager of the CVS called to report that an individual attempted to shoplift from the pharmacy. The individual left the pharmacy without the items and continued in the direction of French Square. Detectives are attempting to locate the individual in the center area. Are searched to no avail.

Report of an individual harassing customers at Winthrop Market Place. 98 responding to assist.

Employee at Wine & Spirits on Crest Avenue reports that a customer is requesting an ambulance. Fire notified.

Many 911 calls of a man hit by a vehicle or fell down at Dunkin Donuts. WFD notified. Officers report a male is lying in the street and bleeding. Officer re-routed traffic. Subject is being transported to MGH.

Nurse from doctor’s office called to report that someone just walked into the office and they stated they fell outside. EMS notified.

Party on North Avenue came in to report a larceny from her apartment.

Caller on Charles and Shore Drive reports a sewer cover is off completely and she almost fell in. DPW notified.

Party on Wave Way Avenue reports a motor vehicle is blocking the driveway. Unit reports owner blocking his own driveway but preventing others from gaining entry into their driveways. Vehicle was tagged for obstruction.

Female caller on Revere Street reports that an aggressive driver pulled up next to her and yelled that she was driving too slowly. Plate was a Texas number.

An assist was needed at Executive Apartments. Transferred to WFD and they will handle.

Several 911 calls from Wave Way Avenue about a fight out in the street involving several males. Units report needing medical for injuries. Fire and ambulance notified. One party going to Whidden. Units report three juveniles brought to her station and are under arrest. Parents contacted. The juveniles were released to their parents. Bail commissioner and juvenile probation notified. All were arrested for assault and battery two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of civil rights violation with injury, assault, and civil rights violation.

Party on Sewall Avenue came in to report that a former workplace supervisor, let go several years ago, has been making statement that she knows her phone number, social security and address and will use them to cause harm. There was a recent face-to-face confrontation on a Winthrop bus near Revere and Governors Park. At this time, no crime other than the name-calling has been occurring. Above party wants it on record and filed a victim/witness statement on this matter.

Party on Trident Avenue called requesting police to her apartment. There is a language barrier and unable to ascertain what the issue is. Officers report speaking with the 11-year-old son who was refusing to do as his mother asked. Officers spoke with the son.

Caller at Fort Heath Apartments reports spitting up some blood and request an ambulance. Fire and EMS notified.

 

Thursday, December 17

Report of an odor of gas on Pleasant Street. WFD notified.

W92 reports being off on Winthrop Street as there is very dark smoke coming from the chimney and a buildup of mail. Fire notified to respond. Fire was able to gain entry to the two family home and discovered a burner malfunction. The house was filled with smoke. Fire ventilated the home. Attention was brought to the officer’s attention by DPW workers. Great job by all involved.

Request of medical for female that fell down on Wave Way Avenue.

Caller on Veterans Road stated that a person staying in a neighbor’s apartment made a threatening statement to her last night. Officer repots a civil matter and advised the parties of their rights.

Party on Locust Street called to report that a male sitting no the steps to the house and he does not live there. The party may be under the weather. 942 responded and requests medical, as the party has fallen. Fire notified.

Party on Veterans Road reported receiving threats.

Reports from Fort Heath Apartments from a deliveryman who thinks that someone may have passed away. Fire notified and W92 notified that a person is down there. W92 reports the party is conscious but not talking. W94 responded to assist. Lifeline called with signal to the apartment and they were told that EMS and police were already off and transported the party and their family was notified.

Reports of an odor of gas outside of Winthrop Senior Center. Transferred to fire.

A copy of a restraining order was received via the mail from Winthrop Street to be off limits.

Party called to report that some friends of people in East Boston who are friends of people in Winthrop have called and made threats to his home in East Boston. This has to do with an incident that occurred last night. The caller reports that he has to leave work to come home. The caller was advised to report this to Boston Police and the number was given to him.

A female walked into the lobby and is requesting an ambulance. She stated she lost her key and when asked why would she need an ambulance for a lost key, she sat down and said, “Get me an ambulance, you know why.” fire and EMS notified. Patient refused and walked out of the lobby.

Party from the Lucky Gardens called to report that a female there is stating she feels suicidal. EMS and WFD dispatched. Officer reports the female is being transported to the hospital for an evaluation.

Party on Pearl Avenue reports workers hammering at a house that is under construction. Officer reports speaking with the contractors. They were not aware of the ordinance. The peace was restored to the neighborhood.

 

Friday, December 18

Motorist was stopped for speeding at Main and Pleasant Street. After further investigation, it was determined that he vehicle registration had expired, non-renewable and the operator was under suspension for payment default.

Party from Revere Street came to the station to file a report regarding a previous incident involving her son. She was told that we would need to have her son complete a statement. The paperwork was given to the mother who brought it home. The mother called to have an officer come to the home and speak to her son. The mother wanted to file a report regarding her son as a victim on the advise of council.

Caller on Shirley Street requesting an ambulance for mother-in-law; possible stroke. WFD notified.

Reports of a Rottweiler running loose in the area of Revere Street. ACO notified.

Housing called to report that one of their tenants reports a male knocked on her doors and said he had to check the windows. Others in the complex report that the male party was knocking on a lot of doors. Units report locating the party and have reports from their tenants that the male entered apartments that were unlocked while tenants were home. Subject under arrest for two counts of breaking and entering, armed; larceny from building, giving false name, carrying a dangerous weapon, trespassing, resisting arrest, two counts of assault and battery on police officer, three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, four counts of receiving stolen property over $250, assault and battery on a police officer, destruction of property over $250, and daytime entry by false pretenses.

Party on Fairview Street repots that she is the victim of identity theft. The party was advised to contact her lending agencies and given the number to contact. Also given fraud numbers.

E911 transfer for an overdose on Coral Avenue. Parties are taking the victim outside. The subject was brought to the Whidden.

 

Saturday, December 19

Caller on Grovers Avenue reports that her husband is having complications from a previous surgery to his mouth. Call transferred to EMS.

Party came to the station to report that his handicap placard is missing from his motor vehicle. He has reported this to the Registry.

Clerk at Cumberland Farms reports a customer needs an ambulance.

Party called to report that her motor vehicle parked at her home was entered overnight and $10 roll of quarters is missing.

Report of a man that fell on Overlook Drive and needs to get help in getting up.

Caller on Governors Drive reports that on the third floor there is smoke in the building. WFD notified. W92 and W91 responded and the smoke was determined to be food on the stove.

Party on Grovers Avenue is requesting we make contact with a local resident who has the caller’s vehicle and is not responding to his requests to return the vehicle. W93 left a note as no one was home.

Party on Cottage Park Road requests EMS for his wife who fell. Call transferred to EMD and EMS for service.

 

Sunday, December 20

Party on Hutchinson Street requests police regarding a contractor in her house taking materials and she wants him out. Officers report a dispute between a contractor and a homeowner. All settled for now. Officers will stay on the scene until the contractor clears.

Caller at the Citgo Station reports that a mother with several children in a light colored van not having the children properly belted in. The caller also stated she was arguing with someone outside her vehicle, no late given. W91 dispatched and reports vehicle left prior to their arrival. Both units search the area for the vehicle described but was unable to locate the van.

Party on Kennedy Road requesting an ambulance for a dehydrated female. Transferred to EMS.

Caller on Belcher Street reports a husky type dog followed her home. She has custody of him now but cannot keep him. She located the owner and will assist.

Party requesting medical assistance at Bay Cove Human Services. EMS responding.

Party on Locust Street repots being contacted by her son’s girlfriend who states he has a gun and is going to hurt himself. Subject does have an active LTC. Units notified and responding. Officers report speaking with the subject. He did not have the gun on him. He denies threatening to hurt himself. He did voluntarily surrender a HIK 40 caliber for safekeeping. Officer will fill out a detailed report explaining the incident.
