Don’t Be Confused About Election Dates

With the air full of political banter – from presidential candidates to state senate candidates – and a potential debt-exclusion override vote in Winthrop (yet to be determined), there are a lot of voting dates to keep in mind and it gets a little confusing. Let’s clarify the dates.

Clip and save:

There will be a Presidential Primary on March 1.

March 1 is also the last day to submit nomination papers for the State Senate race.

April 12 is the state primary for the state senate race.

April 20 is the last day to register to vote for the state election.

May 10 is the state election.

Sept. 8 is the State Primary.

Nov. 8 is the Presidential Election.
