The Town of Winthrop has invested a lot of money in street trees recently and with the dry, hot weather, those with such trees in front of their homes are asked to keep an eye on the young arbors.
Anyone with a new tree in front of their home is asked by the Town to water them regularly while the heat wave persists this summer in order that they do not find an early demise.
