Monday, August 29

Caller from Overlook Drive stated that his wife has fallen and needs help lifting her. WFD notified and 92 responded.

Calling party on Shirley Street stated her ex-boyfriend is harassing her. It is to the point that she is afraid. She will be home after 8 a.m. and will call the station to have an officer go by and speak with her about 209A options.

Party came to the station to report that he recently moved to Winthrop and hired a contractor to do mechanical work on his home. He reports paying the contractor over $16,000 and the contractor is looking for more money before he completes the work already paid for. The party also states that a worker for the company has threatened to break equipment/property that is at his home if he doesn’t get the additional money. The party reports that he has a contract and this is contrary to the contract. He will call if the worker comes to his home to have us keep the pace. The reporter also states that the worker stated that he would make his life difficult if he were not paid extra.

Todisco reports towing motor vehicle from Governors Park for trespass.

Detective reports being off with a male party at the Crest Avenue playground.

Party on Kennedy Drive is causing a disturbance. 92 reports subject was escorted out of the building.

Party on Summit Avenue called to report she has warrants. 93, K9 and 92 have located subject on Crest Avenue and she was placed in custody for outstanding warrants.

Caller on Ingleside Avenue reports receiving delivery of a rice cooker a few days ago that she did not order. She was advised to contact Amazon.

Party at Fort Heath Apartments reports a small mulch fire near the handicap parking spots. WFD notified and responded.

Caller on Golden Drive reports that her upstairs neighbor is banging on the floors and yelling. Officer reports speaking with the resident who was upset over a loud noise that woke him up. He is now calm and returning to bed.

Party reports a carload of people shooting off fireworks at Hannaford Park. Officer reports area search negative except for a couple who were leaving the area.

Tuesday, August 30

Caller on Johnson Avenue reports that someone claiming to be from Comcast “touching her wires” despite a no trespassing sign. Officer spoke to all parties. The caller voiced her concerns to Comcast supervisor.

Party came into the station to report a former boyfriend is harassing her. She was advised to go to East Boston Court and speak with the clerk magistrate.

Report of a deceased animal on Taylor Street. ACO notified.

Caller on Pearl Avenue request an ambulance. Fire notified.

Detectives will be off on Russell Street on a follow-up investigation. Subject was not present.

Report of a minor motor vehicle accident at Bank of America. People need assistance with paper exchange. Officer reports peace restored and he assisted them in exchanging information.

Motor vehicle stopped on Walden Street for violation. Officer reports traffic citation issued for impeded operation.

Report of mulch smoldering in the median at Revere and Crest Avenue. Fire notified.

Party located an unleashed dog roaming around the neighborhood of Main and Paine Street. ACO is clearing Revere and will respond. ACO reports nobody met him there.

Caller on Sagamore Avenue requests EMS take her to the emergency room per her doctor. Call transferred to WFD and EMS for service.

Party on Undine Avenue is reporting he has pain down his arm and chest. WFD and EMS notified and will respond.

Caller on Governors Drive requests a well-being check on her brother. Fire notified. A voluntary transport.

Caller was concerned about a suspicious male party inside of Vivi Nails. Officer spoke to the owner and all is well.

Neighbor dispute over an eviction on Golden Drive. Officer spoke with both parties advising them of their rights.

Party on Charles Street requesting ambulance for his sister who has an injured leg. EMS responding.

Caller reported to an officer that there is a male acting in a suspicious manner hanging around the ball field on Cross Street. Officer responded and reports area search negative at present time. Party called back reporting the subject is gone but acts in this same manner frequently. She was advised to contact the police immediately should she see him in the area.

Party on Myrtle Avenue reports hearing noises in the upstairs apartment, which is unoccupied. Officer reports the apartment is all clear, nobody in the apartment.

 

Wednesday, August 31

Party on Trident Avenue reports that the neighbors across from him are arguing in the apartment.

Male party on Winthrop Street called to state that a 14-year-old runaway from Boston has been staying the past two nights with his son. Officer spoke to the female. Query shows the female not reported missing. Adult party at house took the female home.

Party on Lincoln Street called to state that a female fell and needs help getting up. Transferred to EMS.

Caller on Golden Drive reports that she was assaulted yesterday but did not want to press charges. She has decided to change her mind. Officer reports taking the information and the victim now wants medical treatment for a sore back.

Nurse from East Boston Neighborhood Health called on the 911 line to report a female down in the building. Call transferred to fire. W92 dispatched to assist with traffic.

Party at D’Parma’s requested we check on a subject on the bench.

Call from Marblehead PD asking us to make a notification to a resident that they believe lives in our town. The address given by Marblehead (Grovers Avenue) was not accurate. The party was located at a different address in our system. The party was home and given the message to call Sandwich PD.

Call from a Visiting Nurse requesting an ambulance for her patient on Golden Drive. Call transferred to WFD and EMS for service.

Two driver reports a trespass tow of Governors Park vehicle. Vehicle had no number plates.

Chief Delehanty requests a cruiser to video around High/middle School regarding parking issues. 92 will perform the task. Video listed as “motorist assist”.

Caller at Seal Harbor reports that his neighbor is in bad shape. 94, Action and WFD all responded. Sudden death. ME’s office notified. CPAC notified. WFD sent back to assist brother of the victim having trouble breathing.

Detective reports some female students reported that a female tried to sell them Zanax at Magee’s Corner.

Female on Shirley Street reports she was followed for a while by a male in a white car. Plate is cancelled. K9 and 92 reports he has a similar plate listed out of Siren Street. Driver denies any involvement. Caller contacted for an ID. The caller does not want any more involvement. K9 will speak with him; it might be a Pokeman case search.

Female reports a speeding “rice rocket” heading towards Shore Drive. All units notified.

Reports of a young girl acting strangely on Walden Street. Units requests fire, Action for an evaluation. Father finally located.

Caller reports being locked out of her house on Marshall Street by her sister. 92 requests fire for a forced entry. 92 reports speaking to both parties. Locked out sister will leave for the night. All rights given.

Party on Shirley Street reports hearing loud screaming between a man and a woman in one of the houses in the area. Officers report speaking with the parties who are talking loud. They were advised to keep the noise down.

 

Thursday, September 1

Male party on Trident Avenue states he knows the first floor is unoccupied and tonight when he got home he said he saw the screen window up and it was not like that this morning. Officers checked out the apartment, which was empty. The officers secured the window.

Party on Bates Avenue would like to speak to an officer. He reports having a verbal argument with their landlord.

Caller on Douglas Street reports a litter of kittens under a neighbor’s home. ACO will notify Masspaws.

Party at Seal Harbor would like to report a strange situation that took place on Tuesday regarding a telemarketer. Officer reports speaking with the woman and will now attempt to make contact with another tenant regarding the matter. Officer advised all parties not to give out their information to telemarketers.

Walk-in on Banks Street to report being defrauded via text.

Party on Overlook Drive reports she needs an ambulance but then started shouting that she did not6 need one. WFD and EMS notified. Officer reports the party had fallen but was alreaady6 assisted up. Call cancelled.

Party from Governors Park came to the station to request a police officer check on one of their residents who may need an evaluation, as there may be a medical/psych issue.

Male party on Siren Street involved in a call from last night reports that the reporting female just came to his door asking if he took her mail and left a poetry book behind. He is concerned, as he does not know the female.

Female (above) called to report finding the book in her mailbox and retold the story from last night. She was instructed to stay put at home and the officer would come to speak with her. K9 reports the female just showed up at the male’s residence even after being told not to.

Caller from Bay Cove Human Services requests an ambulance for a female party making threats.

Party on Hawthorn Avenue states that his neighbor is at his house and is having difficulty breathing.

Caller on Hale Avenue states that her neighbor is continually harassing her over parking and trash. This evening she is at her parent’s house and he is calling there harassing her. There is an open case from February. Officer reports speaking to the subject, who is now irate, and advising him of the results of the continued harassment.

Female caller from Crystal Cove Marina reports a party just drove out of the marina area in his blue Corvette and is possibly intoxicated. A thorough search of the area was fruitless. Units will monitor traffic.

Operator at Executive Apartments states that a man needs medical assistance.

Party from Governors Park walked into the station to report that he has been away and returned home to find his vehicle damaged. W92 reports the party’s motor vehicle was shot approximately a dozen times with a pellet gun.

Caller on Shore Drive states that his girlfriend went into the bathroom and now won’t respond. Unable to send a unit because they were all tied up. WFD reports female to Whidden.

Friday, September 2

Officer from Littleton PD called and asked if we could go see if a female party lived at the address on Pleasant Street. There were multiple incidents in their town with her and a male party, one of them being a possible domestic. 93 will respond and check. 93 reports that he spoke to the landlord who confirms she was evicted. He was able to provide a cell phone number, which was given to Littleton PD.

Caller states he observed a white male carrying a large gun case walking around suspiciously near the Dalrymple School. Units respond and report the area search negative of that subject.

Gentleman walking his dog on Morton Street reported that he has discovered a handgun discarded along the curb. The item was determined to be an air soft gun and brought back to the station.

Report of a strong odor of gas on Revere and Central Street. Fire responded to investigate.

Female called to report that a co-worker attacked her in her car while they were driving together. The caller reports that she thinks this took place on Highland Avenue. Caller reports the party punched her and pulled her hair. She was finally able to push her out of her car. This call came in through Everett PD. At this time, the caller just wants this on the record and does not want to come to the station to complete a form or to have charges filed at this time. Caller also refused any medical attention.

Nurse from Arbors called in need of an ambulance. EMS was notified.

Officer will try to serve parent a harassment order issued by the Chelsea Juvenile Court to subject on Shore Drive. He reports no one home.

Postal employee called to report that an elderly male just fell and is bleeding form the knee on Overlook Drive. EMS notified.

Caller on Cross Street reports that there were kids in the locked A field. 92 responded to the area and there were no children in the area at this time.

Caller at Nick’s called to report that some individual looked like they needed medical attention. Fire and ambulance notified. Units report party refused medical attention.

Caller on Grovers Avenue reports that her downstairs neighbor is out of control. Units report a verbal disagreement between the landlord and tenant. All parties advised of their rights.

Caller on Golden Drive reports the entire building is heating up to uncontrolable levels after the air conditioning stopped working. Fire department will respond to evaluate.

Motor vehicle was parked in the handicap parking spot at Winthrop Marketplace without having a handicap placard/plate. A $300 parking ticket was issued.

A dead raccoon was found in the middle of Cutler Street. ACO notified.

Caller on Cottage Park Road reports speaking to her friend who fell and was unable to continue the conversation. Fire notified and will respond along with officers. Units report gaining entrance and speaking to the party.

Motor vehicle was parked in the handicap parking spot in the parking lot on Grovers Avenue without displaying a handicap placard/plate. No placard was observed in the vehicle anywhere. A $300 parking ticket was issued.

Saturday, September 3

Caller on Golden Drive believes someone may be trying to break into cars on the property. He states he can hear car alarms going off. Units report no sign of anyone in the area and will stand by to observe. Gang units reports no activity and will clear.

Unit repots moving two parties from Hannaford Park.

Caller on Tewksbury Street reports that her driveway is blocked. After numerous attempts to locate the owner, parking citation was issued and vehicle towed.

Party on Johnson Avenue reports loud noise/disturbance from upstairs neighbor on an ongoing basis. Officer reports successfully mediating the dispute between tenants for the time being.

Probation requests a person check on an individual from Suburban Extended Stay to determine whether his electronic monitoring brace3let is functioning properly. W93 reports speaking with the individual and checking the electric monitoring equipment, which appears to be secure and in working, order.

Caller at Seal Arbor requests an ambulance for their father who wants to go to the hospital. Fire and ambulance notified and will respond.

A couple were concerned about someone riding a moped in the Short Beach walking path. Units report speaking to a party from Revere who was trying to sell a moped to a buyer. He was informed of laws for mopeds and will leave the area.

Caller from Beach Road reports coming across a female that was having an asthma attack. Fire and ambulance notified and will respond.

Reports of a fire in a driveway on Cliff Avenue. Unit responds to a very small fire being put out.

Caller on Veterans Road reports having an unwanted guest she wants removed from her apartment. Units report subject left prior to their arrival.

Party on Crest Avenue reports subject asking people for money in front of the liquor store and bothering patrons. Units report assisting the subject out of the area.

Sunday, September 4

Caller reports a group causing a disturbance at the tennis courts at Governors Park. Units report sending the group out of the area and into their homes.

Party on Read Street sated he just witnessed four youths walking down towards the park drinking and trying car doors. He actually heard one say after trying his car door that “this one is locked.” 92, 93 and 94 responded and searched all the surrounding streets along with the park. Area search was negative.

911 call from Prospect Avenue stating that a carbon monoxide detector was going off. They were told to have everyone exit the house and referred to WFD.

Caller on Lincoln Street reports a young girl with mental health issues is running around the area going in and out of yards while carrying a flag. Officer reports young girl known to us to have developmental issues reunited with her mother.

Caller on Cliff Avenue reports loud constructive noise from a neighbor’s house. W92 reports speaking with contractors who will cease for the day.

Reports of wires from a pole are very low on Morton Street. Fire notified.

Caller on Winthrop Street requests an ambulance for a family member who is having an allergic reaction. While EMS were enroute, caller called back on 911 to report that they were driving the family member to the hospital themselves and were no longer at the address.

Female came in with a bulldog that she found wandering around Main and Read Street. ACO notified and will take possession. ACO reports he located the owner on Russell Street and the subject was issued a ticket.

Party on Walden Street reported to an officer that a group of kids were tossing stones at motor vehicles in the parking lot area. Officer reports no children in the area or stone throwing.

Caller on Kennedy Road reports seeing money being exchanged between some kids and believes it was a drug transaction. They are heading down Revere Street. Units report speaking to the kids who were exchanging money for the purchase of Jordan sneakers. The parties sent on their way.

Party on Buchanan Street reports she noticed her number plate was missing and when returning from the store, she observed her number plate attached to another vehicle parked in the area. Officer reports the number plate is in fact attached to a Ford Explorer. Vin was queried and the vehicle was last registered to a party out of Lynnfield. The vehicle is on video and the plate was returned to the registered owner who was on the scene. G&J Towing was called to remove the unregistered uninsured vehicle form the public way.

Caller on Atlantic Street reports a 62-year-old female has been throwing up and now suffering some chest pains. Fire and ambulance notified and will respond.

E911 transfer call from Boston. A nephew stated that his aunt called him to report that someone was driving slowly in front of her house and someone may be outside. Units report speaking to the party and advised her to call 911 directly instead of calling her relative first if she sees anything suspicious. Units report no one in the area.
