Chris Tsiotos at Suffolk Hall of Fame Dinner

It was great to see Winthrop attorney Chris Tsiotos at the Suffolk University Hall of Fame Dinner Friday night at the new Suffolk University Law School function room. We watched admiringly as the new class of inductees and the former inductees greeted Chris at the event. Chris is one of the most respected and highly regarded athletes in Suffolk University history and it was noble for him to be there to welcome the new inductees who joined him as member of the Hall of Fame.

At 6 feet, 5 inches tall, Chris is usually the tallest person in the room, but new inductee Jay Crowley — who mentioned Chris in his acceptance speech — is 6 feet, 8 inches, having incredibly grown eight inches from his senior year in high school to his freshman year at Suffolk. Jay was a 6-foot shooting guard at Mission High in Boston and became a 6-foot-8 guard at Suffolk in the 1960s. He went on to become the principal and superintendent of schools at Northeast Regional in Wakefield.
