Retired customs broker

Christine M. (Wilkinson) Phillips of Winthrop passed away on Oct. 3. She was 59 years old.

Prior to her retirement, Christine worked for the Fritz Co. as a customs broker.

She was the beloved wife of N. Peter Phillips; devoted mother of Jennifer Rizzitano and her husband, Tony of Abington, Benjamin Williams and his wife, Rachele of East Boston, Jeff Phillips and his wife, Cory of Port Charlotte, Fla., Beth Foley and Edward Zygarowski of Tyngsboro and Tracey Palmer and her husband, Timothy of Columbus, Ohio; adored grandmother of Casey Flynn, Anthony, Grace and Charlotte Rizzitano and Autumn Williams.

Born in Winthrop, she was the daughter of the late Edwin R. and Jean M. (Howard) Wilkinson; dear sister of Maryellen Moran and her husband, Steve of Winthrop, Edwin R. Wilkinson, Jr. and his wife, Jean of Winthrop, Barbara Cannon and her husband, John of Florida, Paula Lemoure and her husband, Frank of Lynn and the late Richard Wilkinson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral will be held from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home, 210 Winthrop St., Winthrop today, Thursday, Oct. 12, at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited.
