REMEMBERING ANTHONY MAJAHAD

Dear Editor,

The Town of Winthrop lost one of its most dedicated public servants last week with the passing of Anthony Majahad, chair of the Winthrop Airport Hazards committee. Anthony was a highly qualified leader of the Committee who frequently put his background as a Harvard University chemist to good use in coping with the complex environmental issues faced by the committee. Anthony was a superb organizational leader who inspired the other committee members to match his own high standards. Anthony Majahad was widely known for his impeccable integrity in the performance of his duties for which he set an enviable standard for all Town officials to aspire to.

Thank you,

John Vitagliano

Member, Wintrop Airport Hazards Committee
