Monday, Sept. 10

Report of a huge container at the end of Somerset Avenue on the ocean side. Caller stated it is low tide and it washed up. Harbormaster contacted.

Assisted fire with tree into power lines on Grovers Avenue area between Crest and Temple avenues closed off. Safety officer on the scene.

A light green Toyota van left Thornton Park and took off toward River Road, or Bowdoin. Caller stated he urinated on her bush and when she yelled at him, he took off. BOLO given to all units.

Resident on Buchanan Street came to the station to express her concerns over vehicles speeding in the area. Units will monitor the area for infractions.

Officers will attempt to serve an immediate threat license suspension to subject on Summit Avenue. Nobody home at this time.

Two young boys on scooters near playground on Veterans Road. Caller states that boys keep stopping and looking around. No one in the area at this time.

91 states there is a tree down i the middle of the street and Ocean View  Avenue and Winthrop Street. He will try to jove it. 91 states he is unable to move it and will notify DPW.

Caller on Charles Street states a male party is verbally threatening an old woman who lives in the apartment. Woman states this is because she will not let him charge his cell phone at her house. 91 and 93 responding. Unit clear, it was a dispute about the party being angry about misuse of phone charger. Female party asked if unit can go by from time to time. They said they would.

Caller on Charles Street states a male party is yelling up and down the driveway. 91 reports the area is clear at this time. The party states he will stay in for the night.

 

Tuesday, Sept. 11

Party on Sea Foam Avenue stated that her vehicle got stolen from her driveway last night and she wants to make a report. Sierra 6 stated the female party has been advised to go to the station to file a stolen vehicle report.

Caller on Whittier Street states a Toyota Rav 4 SUV is blocking the driveway. A ticket was issued at this time. The homeowner will notify if the vehicle does not move. She is having an open house later today.

92 off attempting to serve paperwork from RMV to subject on Summit Avenue. Paperwork was served in hand.

93 off with a parked motor vehicle with revoked insurance on Winthrop Street. 93 requesting a tow. The vehicle was not towed but put on private property.

Resident at Governors Park stated that her upstairs neighbors are repeatedly banging and making loud noises. She would like to speak to an officer. No units to send at this time. 92 spoke to both residents. This is an ongoing issue, and peace was restored.

Party on Ocean Avenue came in to report a motor vehicle hit and run. 91 dispatched as the vehicle is at the location. 91 clear. Vehicle that left the scene is known to police and police will be contacting him and pressing proper charges.

Caller states that she is at work. Her neigh or texted her stating that her ex-husband is at her home on the back porch on Siren Street. She does not want her ex-husband at her home. She also stated that her ex is not on the lease. Unit stated that the male party has every right to be at the home and he is on the lease. The male party was cooperative, and will try to get touch with the landlord to get a copy of the lease.

A group of youngsters came in with a wallet of another young person from school that they found. The parent of the wallet owner was contacted and she will pick up the wallet containing $12 and a school ID for her son. Wallet was left at the window for pickup by the parent.

Unit off with a detective with a male party known to them on Main Street. Male party has two active warrants in WMS. Tow requested and G&J contacted. G&J cancelled as a female took over operation of the vehicle. Transporting male party in custody for reckless operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation and failing to stop/yield.

 

Wednesday, Sept. 12

Party on Overlook Drive states that people that are dropping their kids off are parked in the fire lanes and also making it difficult to get into parking spots. Area clear now and all children are in school. No cars parked in the fire lane.

Business owner on Woodside Avenue reports an individual is attempting to use a debit card belonging to another customer that had earlier reported that card stolen.

Report of a burgundy Honda Accord with possibly two to three male parties doing 94C activity in the vehicle in the public parking lot on Grovers Avenue. Both units in the area with nothing showing. Pond Street lot nothing showing as well as Hanford Park. Area search negative with multiple town lots searched.

Report of two males walking up and down Johnson Avenue pointing at calling party’s house. These were two individuals who live on Somerset Avenue, and it might have been an misunderstanding. Parties were not aware that they pointed at anything. Everything checks out.

Caller states there is a female with brown hair walking near the bend on Upland Road with her chest completely exposed. Possibly under the influence. When units arrived, female party did have all her clothes on. Party has had a few drinks and units will give her a courtesy ride. Female party dropped off at her apartment.

Report of an 18-year-old female crying on the corner of Main Street. No other information could be obtained because she was crying too much. All she said that she was frustrated and wanted to go home. Uint checked the residence that the female does live in the home. Unit has all the information.

Caller on Wave Way Avenue found a paycheck in front of her house, and it belongs to a man living in Winthrop. Units states no answer at the door. Also no name on the mailbox.

Party on Palmyra Street stated that the neighbors are having a loud party. Police require fire and EMS. Unit states one female party transported to the hospital.

Report of a large tree limb down in the middle of Main Street.  Branch was moved to the sidewalk. DPW was notified per 91 and will be responding before the morning.

 

Thursday, Sept. 13

Caller at Governors Park believes that someone has been tampering with her vehicle and would like to speak to an officer. Party will notify the dealership. Clear, no crime.

Party from Fremont Street came into the station to report a past assault and battery.

Registry of Motor Vehicles faxed over an immediate threat form to be served upon an individual party on Grandview Avenue pursuant to MGL c. 90, Sec. 22(a). Nobody home at this time.

Report of a dog on a roof trying to jump off on Park Avenue.Owner of house will be notified by neighbor.

Caller on Shore Drive states that her neighbor is in the street lighting off fireworks. Remnants of small fireworks. Area clear as unit updates.

Attempt to make service to individual on Grand View Avenue. No answer at the door.

Party on Marshall Street states that a house, which is abandoned had a contractor there earlier doing work and left the front door wide open. A walk through was made and it does not look like it was inadvertently let open. Town Hall is aware of the property. Code violation left on door.

Caller on Central Street states there is a front end loader that has been parked overnight. Units states that it maybe the paving company doing paving on Revere Street that has permission to park. Unit will check this out. No motor vehicle parked on town property. There is a construction vehicle on Barone property which is allowed to be there.

Party on Shore Drive states that when she came home there was a door opened in the back of the house. She would like an officer to come by and make sure no one is inside. After speaking to resident, everything was clear. She may have left the door open.

In the direction of the Highlands, there is a bus with flashing green lights that says call for help. BOLO given to units. MBTA trying to radio in to bus driver. Unit states nothing showing on Veterans Road. Will check Shirley Street area. MBTA is unable to radio in to the bus as it is an older bus and does not have a radio. No luck in finding the bus.

 

Friday, Sept. 14

Assisted fire with traffic on Kennedy Road. Both units clear. Along with fire, no odor of gas found inside the building. Students and faculty allowed back in.

Assisted fire with vehicle fire on Read Street. Seems to be mechanical in nature. The vehicle has been a recent recall. Fire has been put out.

D6 called in student in field with principal. Dealing with a middle school student at this time. D6 and 93 can handle per D6. Student is going back into the school and class with administration.

Mother came to the station to report that a store has sold her underage daughter a vape.

Third party call stated she got a call stating a two-car motor vehicle accident on Kennedy Road. Does not think there are any injuries. No injuries at this time and all parties were able to drive away.

Caller on Shore Drive called 911 and stated he was scared that his landlord would not let him stay there and needed to speak to an officer and then hung up. He would not give his name and stated he would be outside to speak to an officer. Second call stated that the party who made the initial call was drunk and unwanted. Manager of the sober house called stating no weapons, but party is intoxicated and needs to leave. Unit states manager is upset by a resident drinking. Unit states the resident will go to a hotel down the street for the night. Peace was restored.

Party on Natant Avenue states that the sewer at the beginning of his driveway has be become dislodged again and now the smaller cover atop of the cover has dropped into the sewer. He is afraid a child could fall into it. This is an ongoing issue. He stated that DPW has tried three times to secure it, but it keeps dislodging. Charlie 1 stated to call DPW again and hopefully they will address the issue.

Male party in a black Toyota on Shirley Street, possibly doing 94C activity. No 94C activity. Party well known to units. He will take it inside for today.

Report of a vehicle broken down on Woodside Avenue. It is in the middle of the street and causing a traffic jam. Unit blocking off traffic at Adams until vehicle can be moved. Prior to being disabled, vehicle got into a minor accident. Very minor damage, if any at all. Party exchanged paperwork and unit was able to get the vehicle into a parking space.

Two car motor vehicle accident on Washington Avenue. Unknown injuries. Civic is being drive to mechanic as it is not drivable and 91 will give party a courtesy ride home.

Caller on Franklin Street states that loud music is in the area. Unsure where it is coming from exactly. The whole length of the street is quiet. Unit 91 believes it was the high school that was having a football game. It is being cleaned up now.

 

Saturday, Sept.r 15

Party states a loud party is down at the Landing. Unit searched the area and it is quiet.

Report of two cars in a no parking zone making the turn from Ocean Avenue onto Shore Drive difficult. One vehicle tagged and one vehicle moved.

Report of a loud party near Governors Park. It is a kids party in back of yard. No loud music at this time.

Motor vehicle accident on Pauline Street. It was a hit and run. Called in by C6 from the WFD headquarters. It was no hit and run and no injuries.

Party came into the station to report that she sent money, through a mobil app to a family member. She stated that the money went into the wrong person’s account. A report is to follow.

Caller on Myrtle Avenue states that the neighbor has been blasting music all day and disrupting the neighborhood. She states he does this all the time. The music was turned down.

Party on Floyd Street would like us to check boyfriend’s residence for the involved female. Female made a statement last night via Facebook to her mother that she was tired of living. Police spoke to the female who would not say where she is. They believe she is at the boyfriend’s residence. Units spoke to the male party’s sister who stated he has not been home all day. Neither has the girlfriend. When caller was advised that the police were unable to make contact with either party, they said they would call back if they need anything else.

Caller on Sea Foam Avenue states she can hear banging, yelling and screaming from a house. She believes it may be some type of disturbance. She can’t see anything and it is unknown if there are any weapons. Officers report it was a verbal disagreement in regards to some missing items in the house. Parties worked it out amongst themselves. One of the involved party took a walk to cool off. All parties were advised of their rights. Units clear and peace was restored.

 

Sunday, Sept. 16

White German Shepard with calling party on Somerset Avenue. No collar, very friendly. Owners were found and they picked up the dog prior to ACO’s arrival.

Female party on Hermon Street reported a private company was cutting down a town tree. Officer reports all trees and branches were on private property.

Caller at Andrew Street and Tafts Avenue reports that a white delivery truck knocked over a speed control sign. No plate or further information provided. The sign was knocked over. Officer is going to contact DPW.

Caller reports an erratic driver on Revere Street heading towards Governor’s Drive. BOLO given out to all units. 93 off with the operator in parking lot behind Governor’s Drive. Operator stated she was swerving to avoid the potholes and manhole covers on Revere Street. Party checks out.

Officer reports getting information about a male party who may be in possession of a weapon.

Off with a minor motor vehicle accident on Main Street. Accident report to follow. G&J towed the vehicle.
